Suicoke, the cult Japanese brand founded in 2006, had an incongruous beginning. Producing small accessories and hand-painted Russian dolls prior to their transition into footwear. Initially the brand was exclusively distributed in Japan, adding up to it’s cult-like status. Fusing bold, contemporary forms with pared-back functionality, geometrically-inspired sandals project a sense of creative freedom that refuses to be constrained by genre. The brand’s collection of high-performance footwear remains ahead of the global curve with versatile combinations of technical materials: multi-strap styles feature durable Vibram outsoles, while rugged neoprene and nylon canvas lend utilitarian appeal to oversized single-strap designs. An appealing range of colorways ensures that they complement an array of personal styes.
