For her Spring / Summer 2023 collection, Honey Dijon reached out to the estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, using his musical related artworks for some of this seasons prints, as Basquiat was not only a painter, he was also a DJ and musician. The collaboration is a celebration of his relationship to music, from jazz, bebop and the origins of hip hop as well as the infamous New York / New wave art exhibition at P.S.1 in 1982 that introduced the world to this genius.
